Al Hanna was raised in Southern California prior to attending Chico State University where he earned a BA degree in Communications in 1978.

Upon graduation, he was accepted into the management training program at Warner Communications. Specializing in the recording industry, Hanna would eventually become the National Director of Marketing and Merchandising for recording artists such as The Eagles, Jackson Brown, Linda Ronstadt, Joni Mitchell and others. He then moved into the real estate field in the mid 1980's, prior to joining the executive search industry in 1989.

Hanna, striving to provide proven executive search, management consulting capabilities to the A/E industry, founded Hanna & Associates, Inc. in 1992. Since then, H&A, Inc. has become well respected in the A/E community.

Al Hanna currently lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and family. He enjoys hiking Colorado's fourteener's, competing in triathlons, marathons, and reading.
